DOORS 7:30pm SHOW 8:30-10:30pm Rachel Bearinger is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her music draws from her roots - time spent recording piano improvisations and singing stories into a Sony tape recorder while growing up in rural Iowa. Blending elements of contemporary folk, bluegrass, and jazz, her music has drawn comparisons to that of Nick Drake, Gillian Welch, and José González. www.instagram.com/rachelbearinger Dead North is progressive bluegrass band from the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Now residing in Minneapolis, the band is comprised of Luke Pascot (Guitar, Vocals, Banjo), Kora Melia (Mandolin, Fiddle, Vocals), and Nate Miller (Bass, Vocals). Together, they push the limits of the bluegrass genre with bold experimentation while still maintaining a high level of respect for tradition. Their sound elegantly mixes bluegrass with elements of jazz, rock, country, funk, and so much more. However, we do understand that this isn't always possible. Tickets become non-refundable 48 hours prior to the show date.
