Bernadette is a French-inspired, market-driven restaurant that brings the charm of a Parisian bistro to historic downtown Salem. Named after the French term for “brave as a bear,” Bernadette celebrates classic French fare with a focus on seasonal, local ingredients in a sophisticated yet softened interior. This is the second restaurant venture for husband-and-wife team Aaron and Shanna Chambers, where they aim to create a vibe reminiscent of a dinner party with close friends; celebrating warmth, connection, and exceptional eats.
