Drawing from her experience teaching the Dynamics of Food & Wine at San Diego State, Pam will take you beyond the familiar rules of white wine with fish and red wine with meat to explore what really makes a pairing work. We'll look at the flavors, textures, aromas, and characteristics of both food and wine, discovering how they can complement, contrast, and occasionally surprise each other. This isn't a class about memorizing rules or pretending to know the difference between every grape on the planet. It's about learning to trust your palate, understanding what you're tasting, and finding the joy in a great pairing.
