    The Chef's Table at Carmagnola

    The Chef’s Table at Carmagnola is an intimate, five-course tasting experience designed to place you at the heart of our kitchen. Guided by the season and inspired by the finest local ingredients, each course is thoughtfully selected and prepared by our culinary team to showcase both tradition and creative expression—many finished over a live wood fire that adds depth, warmth, and character to every plate. Seated just steps from the action, guests are invited to slow down and engage—watching time-honored techniques come to life as the aromas and energy of the wood-fired kitchen surround the table. From handmade pastas to expertly prepared meats kissed by flame, every dish reflects our commitment to craft, balance, and hospitality. Offered at $115* per person, the Chef’s Table is a shared culinary journey best enjoyed with our optional wine pairing for $50 per person, curated to complement each course and elevate the experience. At Carmagnola, the Chef’s Table is more than a meal—it’s a conversation, a celebration of seasonality, and an invitation to connect over food cooked with intention and fire. *Tax and gratuity is additional and will be charged at time of reservation.

Reservation Policy

We kindly ask that you let us know if you are unable to make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance so that we can open your table up to other guests. Reservations will be held for 15 minutes. If your party has not arrived within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, we have the right to release your reservation to other guest who may be waiting. We understand that things come up so please just let us know. We will happily reschedule your reservation with advance notice. In order to ensure that everyone has a great time while visiting Carmagnola, we do recommend for you to plan on 90-120 minutes for your visit in any of our dining rooms. Some of our tables are up a flight of stairs and others are off the kitchen. Please let us know if you need any accommodations due to ability to go up and down stairs or have sensitivities to sound. In compliance with Health Code for the State of Ohio, outside food and beverages are NOT permitted to be brought in to Carmagnola and The Grey. This does include celebration cakes. Thank you for understanding and helping us to ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience.

Carmagnola is an upscale Italian influenced restaurant in downtown Hamilton, Ohio specializing in farm to fork cuisine cooked over live fire. The focus is on fresh proteins, seasonal ingredients, and housemade pastas. The Grey is our bespoke cocktail lounge and wine bar that connects.
