I had a very frustrating experience with a duplicate charge and duplicate order through Toast, and after hours of back-and-forth with Toast support and the restaurant, I was honestly ready to stop ordering from Crawfish Cafe, despite how much I love the food. However, the evening’s head manager completely changed my perspective. He personally called me after hearing what happened, sincerely apologized, acknowledged the obvious error, voided the charge, and told me I could keep the extra food. He made me feel heard, valued, and respected when everyone else had left me feeling frustrated. I wish I remembered his name because he deserves genuine recognition for how professionally and compassionately he handled the situation. Unfortunately, my initial interactions with the receptionist and assistant manager were not nearly as helpful, and Toast support provided hours of unnecessary runaround. But this manager turned a terrible experience into a reason to remain a loyal customer. He is exactly the kind of person who deserves to be in management. He demonstrated accountability, excellent customer service, and genuine care for the customer. Crawfish Cafe is lucky to have him, and because of him, I will absolutely continue ordering from this restaurant.
