Founded in 2015 by Chef Iliana Almaguer Tamayo, a native of Bayamo, Cuba, and joined by Chef Tobia Uribes from Mexico, Cuban Cuisine began as a food truck and grew into one of Lansing’s most beloved restaurants. Every dish tells a story, from tender Ropa Vieja and perfectly pressed Cuban Sandwiches to sweet Flan crafted with the same love passed down through generations. Here, laughter fills the air, and every bite brings you closer to Cuba. As we expand to East Lansing, our mission remains the same: authentic flavors and vibrant Cuban spirit! ❤️
