Chef Nick first met Federico in Italy during Vinitaly in 2024, a meeting that eventually brought Federico to Omaha and Dante for the first time last year. That dinner sold out quickly, and after such a memorable night around the table, Federico is making the trip back once again. This evening will focus entirely on the range and character of Barbera from Monferrato, Piedmont, featuring four distinct expressions from the estate: one rosé and three reds. Each wine will be paired with a four-course menu from the Dante kitchen. Tenuta La Meridiana has become one of the benchmark producers of Barbera in Piedmont, crafting wines that highlight both the versatility of the grape and the distinct personality of Monferrato.
