Doc's Seafood Shack and Oyster Bar opened in Orange Beach, AL in 1983. We serve "The best fried shrimp in the entire civilized world" and Seafood Platter, we call it "The Super Seafood Supper" it comes with a cup of FREE Gumbo. We also have the "world's best gumbo", but it wasn't me that came up with that bit because it's best not to be too boastful. Not much has changed in these past 41 years, the décor is still the same. If you like minimalist you'll be happy. The atmosphere is still comfortable, friendly, not pretentious. You see, it is Doc's feeling that everyone here is the President of something. And they just want to be a kid again. Servers still show you how to make the cocktail sauce if you haven't learned already. They know the menu and they will help you gander (peruse) the offerings.
