This is absolutely the best pizza I’ve had in Miami, hands down. Reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 are for the following reasons: - size to price ratio isn’t great. It’s more expensive than Joe’s and Nick’s South Beach, two great NY style pizza spots, and Fratesi’s pizzas are probably half as large/not as filling as the other two mentioned - after ordering online in advance (1 hour wait) I showed up on time to pick the pizza up and I still had to wait another 15-20 minutes. Not sure if this is a demand issue or maybe they just don’t have the capacity to fill as many orders quickly, but that was kind of a bummer - this is a personal reason, but the location is far from me. I live in south beach and have a Joe’s and we have Nick’s as mentioned above. For money and time’s sake, I’ll stick with them. All in all, phenomenal pizza. Best in Miami when it comes to taste. However it’s a little pricey for what you get, and the wait time isn’t worth it. If they bring down the price a bit and get their timing figured out, I’d be back probably every week.
