This stein topper or "bierdeckel" protects your beer from insects, dust and anything else you don't want in your glass. They have been handcrafted in Lawrenceville by local artist Andrew Paul of Run Rabbit Signs. Cast out of resin, these toppers are modeled after the traditional bierdeckels you'll find in beer gardens across Germany.

Josh Gibson, widely regarded as one of the best power hitters in baseball history, and sometimes called the "Black Babe Ruth" spent the bulk of his 17-year career with the Homestead Grays, leading the team to the Negro World Series Championships in 1943 and 1944. Gibson died in 1947 at just the young age of 35 years old, and became the second Negro League player to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. We worked with the Josh Gibson Foundation, and artist Tony Canapa to commission this beautiful portrait that adorns on taproom, and have prints available for purchase. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Josh Gibson Foundation.
