This Mother’s Day, skip the usual plans and gift something truly special, an experience to share and remember. Join us at Malooga for a beautifully curated Lantern & Brunch Experience, where art, food, and connection come together in a warm, intimate café setting. Led by Matina Shakir, mixed-media artist, muralist and interior designer, whose work focuses on upcycled materials, storytelling, and design-led creative experiences, this workshop will guide you step-by-step in creating your own handcrafted lantern using thoughtfully selected materials. As you create, enjoy a Middle Eastern brunch featuring manakish, coffee, tea, and Adani chai. This is a relaxed, social, and meaningful way to celebrate with your mom, daughter, or loved ones. - No prior experience is needed. - Limited seating - Take home your finished lantern! This event is curated and managed by an independent event organizer. Malooga is providing the restaurant space, food service, and hospitality support. Attendance at this event means guests agree to follow Malooga’s house policies and staff instructions at all times. Respectful Conduct All guests are expected to treat Malooga staff, other guests, and the event organizer with kindness and respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, unwanted physical contact, aggressive behavior, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Malooga reserves the right to refuse service or ask any guest to leave if their behavior creates a safety concern or interferes with the experience of others. Organizer Responsibility The event organizer is responsible for managing the event program and any activities not directly provided by Malooga. Malooga is not responsible for statements, promises, programming, marketing, refunds, or disputes created by the event organizer unless expressly agreed to in writing by Malooga. Safety & Emergency Compliance Guests must follow all safety instructions from Malooga management and staff. Aisles, exits, restrooms, service areas, and staff-only areas must remain clear at all times. In the event of a fire alarm, emergency, or safety concern, guests must follow staff instructions and exit the building as directed. No Open Flames or Hazardous Items For safety reasons, sparkling candles, open flames, smoke machines, fireworks, confetti cannons, glitter, hazardous materials, or any item that may damage the property or create a safety risk are not permitted unless approved in writing by Malooga before the event. Food Allergies & Dietary Needs Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should notify the event organizer and Malooga before the event. Malooga will make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergy requests, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free or cross-contamination-free environment. Photos, Video & Marketing The event organizer may take photos or videos during the event. Guests who do not wish to be photographed should notify the organizer directly. Right to Refuse Service / Removal Malooga reserves the right to refuse service, remove guests, stop event activities, or end the event if safety, legal compliance, staff welfare, property protection, or guest experience is at risk.
