Menya Ultra Clairemont Mesa

Menya Ultra Clairemont is the first U.S. location of Menya Ultra, bringing authentic Japanese ramen from Akita, Japan to San Diego since 2017. Our ramen is crafted with care using the same methods developed at our original shops in Japan. The noodles are made with a custom wheat blend milled in Hokkaido, Japan, while our signature sauces and soup bases are prepared and managed by the owner at our central kitchen to ensure consistency and quality across every bowl. We take pride in offering ramen with a clean, natural flavor that captures the true essence of Japanese craftsmanship. Each bowl reflects years of dedication — from the depth of the broth to the perfect balance between noodles and toppings. Located in the heart of Clairemont, this shop remains a local favorite for guests seeking an approachable yet authentic ramen experience. Menya Ultra Clairemont continues to serve ramen that stays true to its Japanese roots — simple, honest, and full of heart.
