Meet the Maker: Joanna Wells of Model Farm Wines Meet Joanna Wells of Model Farm Wines, a woman bringing a thoughtful, farming-first approach to California wine. Working with organically farmed vineyards, native fermentation, and minimal intervention in the cellar, Model Farm makes bright, expressive wines that showcase something out of the ordinary from California. Joanna is taking over the Nature’s Vin tasting room for an evening of sipping, storytelling, and getting to know the woman behind the wines. Reservations are recommended, but not required. Walk-ins welcome.

We’re heading into Nature’s Vin’s anniversary weekend strong with a special grower bubbles tasting + oyster pairing. NV Wine Lady Elyse Lovenworth is pouring a hand-selected lineup of large-format, small-production sparkling wines, paired with fresh local oysters from High Tide Oyster Co., a women-owned raw bar from Long Beach Island. They’ll be shucking on-site and serving the oysters with house-made mignonettes. Come sip, slurp, and keep the one-year celebration going with us all weekend long.
