Never Better and Hold Out Bar & Grill are an expansion from the team behind downtown favorites Better Half and Hold Out Brewing.
Taking over the former Turnstile Bar & Restaurant property, the new concepts bring a mix of breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, beer, and cocktails to North Austin.
In the former Turnstile dining room (Unit A on the property), Hold Our Bar & Grill focuses on beer, burgers, and cocktails. Never Better takes over the small takeout building on the north side of the parking lot (Unit B) as a daytime cafe focused on Better Half classics like the English muffin breakfast sandwich, cauliflower tots, and lots more handheld options for breakfast, lunch, and brunch.
Both shops open early with coffee, pastries, and breakfast, and the Hold Out side will stay open late 7 nights a week.
Guests can order the full menu from either concept through this site and enjoy service on either of our shaded patios or inside the air-conditioned dining room.
