Metro Red was origanlly brewed for DC Beer Week 2015. There was so much positive feedback when it debuted that we had to bring it back and was bottled the following year(2016). Originally 100% hopped with Amarillo from 2015 to 2017. We decided to add Citra in 2018 to the later addtion boil hops and dry hop to blend with the amarillo bringing out more of the juicy citrus and floral notes. Metro Red® is an American Red IPA with notes of sweet citrus and pine in the aroma. This medium bodied brew has flavors of dark caramel and citrus, finishing with a smooth West Coast hoppy bitterness.

After visiting GABF in 2014 and trying West Coast reds especially Port Brewing's Shark Attack we decided to make a beer similar but with less alcohol so the customer would come back for more. Metro Red was origanlly brewed for DC Beer Week 2015. There was so much positive feedback when it debuted that we had to bring it back and was bottled the following year(2016). Originally 100% hopped with Amarillo from 2015 to 2017. We decided to add Citra in 2018 to the later addtion boil hops and dry hop to blend with the amarillo bringing out more of the juicy citrus and floral notes. Metro Red® is an American Red IPA with notes of sweet citrus and pine in the aroma. Port City Revival Stout is a limited edition beer that we made with oysters from War Shore Trading Company. This beer is brewed in the British and Irish tradition of oyster stouts. We steep War Shore’s Chesapeake Bay oyster shells and the oysters to the brew during the boil.
