    Born in San Bernardino, California, Ramon Owens was raised in Houston, Texas, by his single mother and three siblings. In Houston, Ramon honed his barbecue skills, putting in tireless hours perfecting his craft. In 2024, his hard work paid off as he proudly opened Owens BBQ, a small walk-up barbecue stand in the heart of Leimert Park. With his mastered techniques and flavorful creations, Ramon is determined to share his love for exceptional barbecue with the world.
