Following his dining experience there, Bourdain famously declared The French Laundry "the best restaurant in the world, period.” As a tribute to Bourdain’s favorite restaurant, Chef Sam has created 6 courses inspired by the French Laundry. Expertly paired with the cuisine are 5 wines from the Hill Family winery. Located just down the street, the Hill family grows vegetables for the restaurant. And for decades, the Hill Family has sold grapes to Napa’s most respected wineries including Cakebread, Quintessa, Far Niente, Silver Oak, and Caymus. Owner Ryan Hill will walk you through the lineup which includes their signature Red Door Cabernet. Enjoy the evening and then see the new film Tony, released in August. The film is a biographical comedy-drama about the early life of Anthony Bourdain. Set in 1976, the story is based on Bourdain's early years working a summer job at a Cape Cod restaurant, an experience heavily featured in his memoir Kitchen Confidential.

Winemaker Matt Meyer is deeply intertwined with California wine royalty. Mentored from early youth by his legendary father—the co-founder of Silver Oak—Matt proudly carries the family torch into the next generation. While Matt still crafts highly acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon from the family’s historic Oakville vineyard, his pioneering spirit drove him to explore cooler climates. In Mendocino County's renowned Anderson Valley and surrounding regions, he produces award-winning Chardonnay, Syrah, Pinot Noir, and a decedent Zinfandel port. Now, Chef Sam is taking burger night to a whole new level with a luxurious three-course lunch inspired by four exceptional wines from Meyer Family Cellars. These perfectly paired courses build up to Chef Sam’s best take on his famous Saturday burger. Don't miss this chance to meet Matt Meyer and experience a gourmet lunch pairing you won’t soon forget. Veggie burger available. Request at time of booking your reservation.

Chef Sam has done it again! This time he’s pairing foods from his childhood and memories of cooking with his mother, who in 2017 was diagnosed with lymphoma. After 2 years of chemo and immunotherapy, she has been in remission since. These dishes will be paired with acclaimed wines from Russian River, a region truly unique among California’s best AVAs. Enjoy five of Sam’s creative courses with five of Bricoleur’s highly-rated wines. Winery co-owner Mark Hanson will be there to guide you through the pairings. And in honor of cancer survivors Sarah Citron, winery co-owner, and Sam’s own mother, the Chef is donating $25 of the ticket sales per guest to cancer research along with other fundraising. Russian River is truly unique among California’s best wine regions. The vineyards of seabed soil are ensconced in a maritime blanket of fog. This combination produces remarkable cool climate wines that are both beautiful and exceptionally food friendly.
