The Chemistry of Love
THE CHEMISTRY OF LOVE A Haven’s Apothecary Comedy of Romance, Mischief, and Questionable Chemistry Mabel has her heart set on Thaddeus. Thaddeus appears to have misplaced his. Spring has arrived in Milton, Wisconsin, bringing warmer weather, blooming flowers… and the dangerous idea of love tonics. At Haven’s Apothecary, Mabel has decided that science may finally solve her greatest problem: convincing the brilliant but impossibly stubborn Doctor Thaddeus to notice her. A mysterious Spring Love Elixir promises admiration, affection, and perhaps even romance. For Mabel, it sounds like an opportunity far too good to leave to chance. For everyone else, it should probably sound like a warning. With a little meddling and some questionable judgment, a hopeful romantic plan becomes an experiment nobody is quite prepared to handle. Thaddeus wants scientific answers. Mabel wants a very different kind of response. And the rest of the household finds itself far too involved in both. As attraction and confusion take over the apothecary, correcting the situation may prove more complicated than creating it. Will the elixir work? Will science prevail? And can anything persuade Thaddeus that romance deserves his attention? Join us for an evening of comedy, cocktails, and theatrical mischief, where love is experimental and chemistry is always unpredictable.
