Inspired by sando commonly found at Japanese konbini (convenience stores), Sandoitchi is a Dallas-based, chef-driven concept serving traditional Japanese breakfast and lunch, including a variety of sando such as egg salad, chicken katsu, and fruit & cream, using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients.
Founded in 2020 as an experimental pop-up during the pandemic, the brand gained critical acclaim and cult-status during a series of pop-ups, one-day food trucks, and flash offerings.
Driving its culinary direction is Chef Stevie Nguyen (Japanese restaurant pedigree of Uchi, Morimoto and Momofuku Ko).
