Had a really great brunch at Sunrose California Eatery in Agoura Hills. We tried the B.A.B. and the Mediterranean, and both were delicious. The B.A.B. is a great classic breakfast with eggs, crispy potatoes, toasted country bread, and your choice of bacon or sausage patty. I went with the sausage patty. I would’ve cooked the patty for another minute myself, but it wasn’t a problem. Everything else was cooked really well, and those crispy potatoes were especially good. The Mediterranean was completely different but just as enjoyable, with a soft boiled egg, grilled halloumi, hummus, olives, cucumber salad, tomatoes, pita, and sumac. It was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. The grilled halloumi and hummus were probably our favorite parts. We also couldn’t resist trying a couple of pastries and ordered the Cheddar Chive Scone and a croissant. Both tasted incredibly fresh. The croissant was buttery and flaky, and the scone had a really nice savory flavor from the cheddar and chives. Sunrose has a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a perfect brunch spot, and everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.
Our meal was wonderful! Lexi was an amazing server and patient with our party of seven. She brought treats to celebrate the birthdays and anniversary at our table. Run don’t walk to Sunrose!
