I love this pizza so much! Outstanding
As a native Angeleno, I’ll admit I walked in with my guard up, anything in the tourist corridor of Venice gets side-eye from me by default. But Butcher’s Daughter completely won me over. The pizza is exceptional. The pesto hits exactly the right oil balance, the zucchini is thinly sliced and perfectly fresh, none of that overcooked, mushy limpness you so often get, and the cashew cheese brings a luxurious creaminess that ties everything together. Then add the bright fresh herbs, peppery arugula, and roasted lemon to finish it off? It’s a genuinely well-composed dish. Consider my skepticism dissolved. This one’s earned its place on my list, tourist zone and all.
