The Fish

I am a regular at this restaurant. Especially on Fridays because I like to get the fried snapper half off. Today I was not happy or pleased. I ordered a passionfruit margarita, during happy hour. Well, high balls drinks are $6 during happy hour. I received the receipt after getting two cocktails and the total for each cocktail was $12. This is a shock to me! I asked the waitress why is the total $24 because I was expecting for it to be $12 during happy hour. She tells me those particular margaritas are no longer happy hour items. Why didn’t you say that when I was ordering other items on the happy hour menu?⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ If she loses her job when the new owners come in, I wouldn’t even care. Because she is not being mindful of the happy hour. I imagine that’s because she knows her tip would be higher since 20% gratuity is automatically included in every order. I spent over $1000 dining at this restaurant so I do not appreciate feeling misled about price points. This is why I like one particular waiter in this entire establishment. I never have an issue when that particular waiter serves me. Anyone else who serves me is always an issue after my receipt comes to the table. The last time a woman charged me full price for the fried red snapper when it was half off because it was Friday! I’m not giving this establishment any more of my money. Too many waitresses are not competent.
