Welcome (Back) to The Gig. The Captain’s Gig was taken over by owner Quincy Yaley’s (Struve) parents, The Struves, and their dear friends, the Larsons, right here on Monterey’s first pier in 1978. It has now been reimagined as simply The Gig. A new family institution, with old roots. While many of the folks you meet here are actually our friends and family, we are truly a home, on the water, for locals and visitors. Come by to enjoy our locally sourced seafood and pasta. While you are at it, take in the ocean air as the breeze travels across the water in front of you. When you come to The Gig, you are not just at another restaurant that serves seafood, you are at a restaurant that lets you experience all that the Monterey Bay has to offer.
