The Philly Special 1408 South Butterfield Road Mundelein, Illinois 60060

The Philly Special is a Philly-owned independent restaurant bringing authentic Philadelphia cheesesteaks to Chicagoland. We make them the way we grew up eating them, with fresh hand-sliced beef, authentic Amoroso rolls, and your choice of Cooper Sharp American, provolone, or Whiz. We also serve wings, burgers, fries, and a selection of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania staples that are hard to find in Chicagoland. Feeling lucky? Check out our AC Expressway Room featuring video gaming inspired by trips down the shore. No gimmicks. No imitation. Just Philly.
