Alex Woodard and Ike met in San Diego in 2003, where they discovered a shared love of storytelling and connecting with people through music. Over the past twenty-plus years, they've toured the country together behind several critically acclaimed albums, shared stages with many of their musical heroes, and built a friendship that has stood the test of time. Many of you may remember Alex from the legendary For the Sender concerts held at Ike and Stephanie's home in Genoa before the pandemic. For four unforgettable years, Alex and Ike welcomed nationally acclaimed musicians to our small town, creating evenings that reminded us of the power of music to bring people together. Alex is an award-winning songwriter and bestselling author whose work has been praised by The Huffington Post, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Ellen DeGeneres, Billboard Magazine, and Woody Harrelson. His latest novels, Ordinary Soil and Analog Sun, have both appeared on Amazon's Best Seller lists. Today, he lives in the in Southern California with his family, a Labrador Retriever, and two horses, where he continues to write songs and stories inspired by the people and places he loves. Join us for a California Ranch Supper before settling in for an intimate evening of songs, stories, and conversation between two lifelong friends. Throughout the evening, Alex will share stories inspired by Ordinary Soil and Analog Sun, along with the music that has accompanied his journey as an author and songwriter. Every September, tens-of-thousands of people gather in Genoa for one of Nevada's most beloved traditions. They come to wander the vendors, discover unique finds, sip fresh-squeezed lemonade, and experience the charm of our historic town. Explore everything the festival has to offer during the day, then, beginning at 4:30 p.m., guests return to The Pink House Supper Club for a seasonal Harvest Moon dinner celebrating the flavors of Northern Nevada. A celebration of great food, great music, and the simple joy of gathering together. $120 per guest (drinks and gratuity not included). 4:30-6:00 pm Cocktails 6:00 pm Dinner & Music During dinner, a special performance of Neil Young's iconic Harvest Moon album in its entirety, performed by Ike & Martin, featuring a full band and special guests musicians, followed by an acoustic rock-n-roll show by Ike & Martin. Also enjoy Pascal Baboulin. Renowned Virginia City Hatmaker Pascal will make The Pink House his home, creating custom hats, sharing stories from his years as a master craftsman, and inviting guests to experience the timeless tradition of bespoke hatmaking. Guests will have the opportunity to watch Pascal at work, visit with him throughout the day, and schedule a personal fitting to begin designing a one-of-a-kind custom hat that will be handcrafted in his Virginia City workshop. It's a rare opportunity to spend time with one of the West's finest craftsmen in an intimate setting—another experience available only to our Candy Dance guests. Candy Dance is the adventure.
