Host your next private event inside Black Antler Book Club, The State’s hidden speakeasy in Downtown Redlands. Reserve the entire space for an intimate and unique setting for up to 30 guests, perfect for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, meetings, celebrations, and other private gatherings. We offer coursed menu packages to help make planning your event simple and memorable.
Standard Booking Hours:
Sunday–Thursday | 11 AM–10 PM, and Friday & Saturday last booking at 3 PM
Peak Booking Hours:
Friday & Saturday | bookings beginning at 4 PM
When submitting your reservation request, please include your preferred menu package in the “Special Request” section. Online reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. For reservations within the next 7 days, additional information or help with planning your event, please call or email us.

For private events held Sunday through Thursday at any time, or Friday and Saturday last booking at 3 PM, a $250 room rental fee is required at the time of booking to secure the private dining space. This fee covers the rental of the room only and does not apply toward food, beverages, gratuity, or any other event-related charges.
The room rental fee is refundable if canceled at least seven (7) days before the event. Cancellations within seven (7) days or no-shows will result in the $250 room rental fee becoming non-refundable.
To help us maintain our facility and ensure a great experience for all guests, please note the following:
• No glitter or confetti.
• Do not tape, pin, or attach decorations to walls, windows, or furniture.
• The event host is responsible for ensuring all guests follow these policies.
• All decorations and personal items must be removed at the end of the event.
