The Knickerbocker Social House — Billiards House Rules Must be 18-years or older to play, or accompanied by a parent or guardian. At 8 PM, the age restriction goes up to 21-years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Knickerbocker Social House billiards is an adult experience, so make sure children are on their best behavior. Pay before you play. See the front counter to rent a table. Rental is by the hour (or fraction thereof); time starts when the balls are racked. Rack 'em up, we set the pace. Tables are first-come, first-served. During busy hours, staff may put a time cap on tables when players are waiting. Cues and equipment stay on the table. No leaning cues against walls, no using them as swords, canes, or anything but pool cues. You break it, you buy it — damaged cues, torn felt, or cracked balls get charged to your tab. No sitting or leaning on the tables. The rails aren't benches. Felt tears easy and it's expensive. Drinks off the rails. Use the counters or tables for food and drinks. No glasses, bottles, or cans set on the pool table — spills ruin the cloth. 21 to drink, and drinks stay in the game area. If you're carrying a beer, we card. Alcohol stays inside the premises per TABC. Keep it friendly. No gambling, no rough play, no profanity loud enough to bother the next table. Management reserves the right to end your session and clear the table for any conduct issue — no refund. Kids welcome, supervision required. Minors can play, but a parent or guardian is responsible for them and for any damage. Balls stay on the table. Don't pocket them, don't walk off with them, don't throw them. Cost of replacement gets charged to you. Play at your own risk. The Knickerbocker Social House isn’t responsible for personal injury or lost/stolen belongings. Watch your backswing and your gear. Management has the final say on all disputes. Thanks for playing at The Knickerbocker Social House.
