Although Mainers have been making rum with molasses since the early 18th century, we believe that Acadian is the first cane juice rum ever produced in Maine. To create this agricole-style rum, we partner with a Louisiana supplier who works exclusively with multi-generational farmers of color to source the cold press sugar cane juice. Acadian is a grassy and vegetal spirit with a citrus spark and notes of warm hay and green pears. Our world-class sipping rum, ‘Chando 12 starts with Grade A molasses and is column-distilled under the supervision of a maestro ronero with over 40 years of experience. The spirit then rests for twelve years in ex-bourbon barrels under the Carribean sun. We ship the rum at barrel strength to the Three of Strong distillery in Portland, Maine. When it arrives, we proof the rum with crystal clear Sebago Lake water, giving the spirit time to smooth before we bottle and ship it. ‘Chando 12 is the rich color of toffee in the glass. It has an aromatic nose of leather and coffee and opens with flavors of dried fruits before a long, smooth finish of caramel and vanilla. Nightwater Dark rum is a whispered invitation to adventure. It starts with organic, fancy-grade molasses. After distillation, it’s aged in new, charred & toasted American oak barrels for 12 months. Valley Cove is a Solera Barrel Blended Rum with a rich amber color offering an inviting palate with a nose of butterscotch and bitter orange. The flavors of sarsaparilla, vanilla bean, dried fruits, and caramelized sugar unfold into a buttery mouthfeel with a mild peppery finish. This molasses-based rum was aged for 4 years in a combination of new American oak, ex-apple brandy, & ex-white wine barrels for a complex expression reminiscent of a single malt whiskey. The tasting experience begins with ripe apples on the nose, moves through smoky vanilla & caramel in the mid-palate & lingers with a finish of chestnut & dried fruit. Size: 750ml

In the early days, we experimented with a variety of barrel profiles to find the ideal barrel to best complement our rum. During that R&D process, we set those aside the best ones for longer term aging. Beginning with vanilla & dried apricots on the nose, followed by notes of raisins & pecan pie on the mid-palate & ending with a long finish of toffee, crème brûlée & baking spices. Size: 750ml

Diablo is a Habanero flavored 100% Blanco Tequila, imported from Jailsco, Mexico and carefully crafted in Portland, Maine by Three of Strong Spirits for Turning Tides Spirits and Brewing. This spicy tequila is blended with all natural habanero pepper flavors to give it the perfect amount of heat along with the beautiful aroma of the pepper.

Ballyhac brandy was created with the great French brandies of Normandy in mind. Our apples are hand-picked throughout the mid-coast of Maine and beyond from our friends' front yards, the sides of the road, hidden groves we've foraged over the years, and even some kind farmers who've been growing trees for generations.

Tits and Ass and Tom returns to Three of Strong! Krista has been doing improv for over 10 years, and ran an improv theater in Portland, Maine for two years upon first moving here. Jennywren Walker trained in theater at AMDA in New York and has been performing improv since the 2000's. Tom Walsh trained with Improv Boston, and with Keith Johnstone, and has been performing in the Portland area since the 90's. He was a member of the popular group Instant Comedy in the 90's and performs with Running With Scissors. They recently won the Cage Match series of improv shows at Empire Comedy Club.
