Reservation Policy

Reservations at Timestead are optional and never required. We’ll always make room for walk-ins whenever possible. That said, on high-traffic nights (especially when nearby events are happening), reservations help us manage the flow, reduce wait times, and make sure our team can deliver the best possible experience for everyone in the room. If you snag a reservation, great, we’ll be ready for you. If you don’t, also great, walk right in and we’ll get you seated as quickly as we can. Plans change, and we get it. If you’re running late or no longer able to make it, please cancel or update your reservation so we can offer the table to another guest. Timestead is about good food, good drinks, and an easygoing atmosphere. Reservations are just one more tool to keep things running smoothly, not a barrier to entry.

About

Timestead by Modern Times is a lively neighborhood spot serving quality food, excellent beer, standout cocktails, and good vibes in the heart of Downtown San Diego. Expect Modern Times craft brews, a creative cocktail program, and a menu of upgraded comfort classics designed for sharing, snacking, and settling in. We’ve also got plenty of screens for catching the game without the typical sports-bar chaos. We keep things fun, friendly, and welcoming to all, with rotating beer releases, community events, and the kind of laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to stay for “just one more.” Stop by, grab a pint or a cocktail, and see what we’re building here.
