This is the region most precious to Luigi. This is where Luigi was born and raised and his family still lives in Bolzano, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. Trentino-Alto Adige has something of a split personality – the integration of the two makes the region an interesting one to visit. Walking thru the region you are just as likely to hear German being spoken as much as Italian. It’s an incredibly mountainous region, with parts of both the Dolomites and the Alps within its borders. The region is bordered by Austria to the north, by Switzerland to the north-west; from Bolzano, it is just one quick car trip to either country. No matter where you are - the views are spectacular!
