Thirty years ago, Big Night introduced audiences to Primo and Secondo, two brothers determined to share their passion for authentic Italian cooking with their new American home. What begins as a struggling restaurant becomes the setting for one unforgettable night—a story about food, family, tradition, pride, and the lengths we go to create something truly special. For more than 13 years, Big Night has been the inspiration behind our own Big Night dinner series. Now, as the film celebrates its 30th anniversary, we’re bringing the story back to the table and celebrating the movie that inspired this tradition. Join us for a special Big Night inspired by the dishes, spirit, and passion of the film. Expect regional Italian recipes prepared with the same respect for tradition that lies at the heart of the movie, along with a selection of Italian wines chosen to complement the evening. This is more than dinner. It’s a celebration of the kind of food that brings people together, the traditions worth preserving, and the belief that one great meal can become a memory that lasts forever.

This is the region most precious to Luigi. This is where Luigi was born and raised and his family still lives in Bolzano, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. Trentino-Alto Adige has something of a split personality – the integration of the two makes the region an interesting one to visit. Walking thru the region you are just as likely to hear German being spoken as much as Italian. It’s an incredibly mountainous region, with parts of both the Dolomites and the Alps within its borders. The region is bordered by Austria to the north, by Switzerland to the north-west; from Bolzano, it is just one quick car trip to either country. No matter where you are - the views are spectacular! Every turn has an amazing backdrop of the mountains. The traditional food is based on simple yet tasty dishes, made with the products of local agriculture and farming. Bring your favorite red wine to this event - it is going to be amazing!!!! Regional dishes made with true to the region recipes. Select wines from the region - available in flights or by the glass.
