Amogha brings regional Indian cooking to Vancouver's Main Street — seven states, one kitchen, no clichés. We don't do generic curry-house Indian, and we don't do fusion. We cook the real thing: Chettinad from Tamil Nadu, the river-belt heat of Andhra, Hyderabadi biryani, Mangalorean ghee roasts from Karnataka, Malabar seafood from Kerala, and the classics of Punjab and Old Delhi. Whole spices, ground in-house. A full bar treats Indian aromatics — tamarind, cardamom, saffron, rose — as primary ingredients: tamarind sours, cardamom old fashioneds, saffron martinis, each built to pair with the food.
