Our story began in 1972 when Bob and Vida Condra purchased the historic Bob Jones Truck Stop. Their daughter Bobbie and her husband Santos Padilla soon took the reins, eventually moving the restaurant to South Flores in 1986—where it became known as Bobbie’s Café, a beloved Southside staple. For decades, we’ve been known for serving scratch-made Southern breakfast and lunch with true Texas hospitality. Today, the tradition continues with third-generation owners Greg and Ana Ferris, who proudly carry on the family legacy by delivering hearty, homestyle meals made with love.
