On Centre Street. As central as it gets. Cymbals is Nantucket's home for handcrafted donuts, specialty coffee, and sandwiches worth crossing the island for. We're a to-go spot, designed for the beach bag, the boat deck, the cobblestone wander, built for the island and the people who love it. The name? A little lesson in New England. Cymbal (n.): an old New England term for a donut without a hole. It’s a word that’s been quietly slipping out of use. We thought it was worth keeping around. Of course, you probably know cymbals as something else entirely, those gleaming brass discs that a drummer crashes when something is truly worth celebrating. We liked that image. We liked the idea of making a little noise. So here we are. On Centre Street. Making noise, making donuts, and making sandwiches worth talking about.
