About Namaste Indian Cuisine Los Gatos
The Founder: The Namaste restaurant group was founded by Executive Chef Dilip Gurung, who is originally from Nepal. He and his family are known for being very hands-on in the kitchen across all locations.
The Beginning: The very first Namaste location opened its doors on the Monterey Peninsula in 2011.
The Expansion: Since then, you've successfully grown into a beloved Bay Area family of restaurants, including your Los Gatos location on East Main Street, as well as spots in Palo Alto, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco.
The Menu Focus: Your kitchen specializes in authentic North Indian cuisine—highlighting rich, slow-cooked curries (like the Himalayan goat curry that pays homage to Chef Gurung's roots) and traditional tandoori clay oven dishes.
