This is a ticketed experience meant for adults. Your ticket covers the cost of materials, instruction, your finished mug, as well as a complimentary coffee or tea drink on pickup.
Owlbear's Rest will open at 5:30pm, workshop begins promptly at 6pm. The workshop should last 2 hours, and then you're welcome to hang around OBR until 9pm, socializing and snacking.
Create your own one-of-a-kind ceramic mug using slab-building techniques. In this beginner friendly, two hour workshop, you'll learn how to construct a functional mug and add beautiful surface designs inspired by nature.
Enjoy the forest-y atmosphere of Owlbear's Rest, and partake of food and drink before, during, or after the workshop.
After class, your mug will be professionally bisque fired, finished with a clear glaze, and fired again by the instructor. The final product will be food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
