October - Root!
Ready to learn something new? On the Second Wednesday of the month, CJ features a fresh board game and walks the table through setup, rules, and a short demo—then you’re off and playing with coaching as you go.
Each session will be spent learning games that are more complicated in nature and often have a higher barrier of entry. The goal is to lower that barrier to allow more people access to these games in an interactive and easy to understand way without requiring players to pour through rulebooks, forums, or videos to simply get to a point where they can play
Come alone or with friends; we’ll seat you with a welcoming group.
You’ll get:
Clear, friendly rules explanation
First-game guidance and strategy nudges
A complete playthrough (time-permitting)
A rotating lineup of modern classics and indie gems.
