*Sold out* A Tribute to Anthony Bourdain & the French Laundry
Following his dining experience there, Bourdain famously declared The French Laundry "the best restaurant in the world, period.” As a tribute to Bourdain’s favorite restaurant, Chef Sam has created 6 courses inspired by the French Laundry. Expertly paired with the cuisine are 5 wines from the Hill Family winery. Located just down the street, the Hill family grows vegetables for the restaurant. And for decades, the Hill Family has sold grapes to Napa’s most respected wineries including Cakebread, Quintessa, Far Niente, Silver Oak, and Caymus. Owner Ryan Hill will walk you through the lineup which includes their signature Red Door Cabernet. Enjoy the evening and then see the new film Tony, released in August. The film is a biographical comedy-drama about the early life of Anthony Bourdain. Set in 1976, the story is based on Bourdain's early years working a summer job at a Cape Cod restaurant, an experience heavily featured in his memoir Kitchen Confidential.
