Yokocho: A World Sake Day Celebration
Yokocho are the narrow alleyways and side streets of Japan, often tucked just behind the main streets and filled with tiny bars, izakaya, food stalls, and little places to grab a bite and a drink.
For World Sake Day, we’re bringing that spirit into Sake Noire.
For one night, our menu will transform into our own little yokocho, with different dishes inspired by Japan's street food culture and of course, plenty of sake to enjoy. Expect oden, hand rolls, shumai, and more!
$50/pp gets you a 1 glass of sake and Yokocho set which includes 1 handroll of choice, 1 bao bun of choice, cheesy shumai, oden, pickles and a mochi dessert. Tax & service charge added at the end.
Here's a peak at the menu, subject to change depending on sourcing but we try to nail it:
Yael's Oden: $9
Matzo ball, hanpen, mushroom, quail egg, chikua, fishy guy, daikon
Steamed Shumai or Gyoza:$7

Tsukune patty, scallion, tare glaze, shichimi

We cannot accomodate dietary restrictions or allergies for events. Everyone gets 1.5 hours to enjoy, and we try to be flexible with timing when we can!
