Flavor Notes Chocolate, Juicy, Balanced Fala’s Blend, named for the Scottish Terrier that lived in the White House during FDR’s term, will be a permanent staple on our menu. Utilizing a bright natural processed coffee for sweetness and complexity along with a washed and heavy bodied coffee, this medium roast will please all the House Blend lovers. This coffee brings the bright and cheery atmosphere of our shop to life in a cup. I recommend this has a standard drip offering.

Flavor Notes Citrus, Cherry, Fresh Tobacco The Griffin is half eagle, half lion. The eagle represents the American idealism of FDR that gave birth to the name “Roosevelt Coffeehouse”. The Lion representing the genesis of coffee that is Ethiopia. Our highest priority for the espresso blend is mouthfeel. We want to see a nice creamy body with pleasant citrus undertones. Deep cherry like a tobacco shop on the nose with subtle lemon citrus on the tongue. As a barista, do not be afraid to make adjustments to your grinder and dose as you drink this espresso. Trust your palate when dialing this in.

Strawberry Jam, Vanilla Embogo is the unique wild buffalo that is plentiful in the national parks of Uganda. Strong and undeterred, Embogo is revered and respected for its strength. This Embogo Specialty Natural combines the classic Natural traits of citrus and floral notes while distinguishing itself with a silky winey punch that is unlike any other origin. At 85+ cup score, the coffee packs all the strength and diversity, like the buffalo from which it takes its name, while offering quality and value that is irresistible.

Flavor Notes Green Apple, Plum, Floral This Natural coffee is produced by smallholders in Rwanda who deliver to RWACOF washing stations. Smallholders delivering to RWACOF washing stations receive fair prices and agronomic support. They cultivate an average of 200 to 300 trees at altitudes of 1,500 to 2,000 meters above sea level. These high altitudes, combined with fertile soil and good agricultural practices, produce high-quality cherry that is carefully processed at RWACOF stations to preserve and develop these delicious flavors.

Chocolate, Berry, Almond Current Dark Roast) The Buesaco area in the department of Nariño is home to seven volcanoes, which over the years have blanketed the region in fertile volcanic deposits, loading the soil of this mountainous area with ideal nutrients well-suited for the production of high-quality coffees. This organic-certified lot represents choice selections from smallholder farmers who belong to in the Alianza Cafe cooperative, which was founded in 2017 and has blossomed to over 1000 members today.

A coffee imported after Ethan and Kenny traveled to Guatemala and stood on Alfredo's farm. Alfredo Ramírez is the dedicated farmer behind Los Pinos, a coffee farm located in the scenic community of Loma Bonita, Tectitán. Five years ago, Alfredo began his journey into coffee cultivation by planting his first coffee bushes as an experiment to test their adaptability to the region. What started small has since grown into a carefully managed farm spanning 0.88 hectares at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level. At Los Pinos, Alfredo cultivates Catimor, Bourbon, and Caturra varieties. With guidance from technical advisors and support from his family, he has steadily refined his farming practices and mastered a range of management techniques. The farm’s name, Los Pinos (“The Pines”), reflects the abundance of pine trees that surround the land. For Alfredo, the most rewarding part of coffee farming is harvest season—seeing the tangible results of months of hard work.
