Explore moreItalian Cuisine: June 23–26, 9am-11am – We're making fresh pasta and focaccia, and other highlights include making antipasti, Italian sodas and homemade gelato. Our immersive, hands-on cooking camps offer kids aged 7-14 an exciting culinary journey around the globe. Designed to build kitchen confidence and teamwork, our program fosters a love for international cuisine and equips young chefs with valuable, age-appropriate skills. Each camp week (Tuesday through Friday) is dedicated entirely to the dishes and techniques of a single featured culture, providing a comprehensive and focused exploration. Each day campers will enjoy the fruits of their labors around the table with the meal they prepared.
Celebrate Madison Magazine's 2026 Chef of the Year Patrick O'Halloran with a special five-course dinner at The Deliciouser (931 E. Main St.) on June 23 at 6:15 p.m. Across three decades in Madison restaurants - including Lombardino's, The Old Fashioned and Tipsy Cow — this chef has built a local legacy of culinary talent. Now at The Deliciouser, O'Halloran's small-batch spice blend company, restaurant and events venue, this seasoned chef is letting his travels and passion for ingredients guide dishes that each tell a story. Even more to celebrate! Madison Magazine's 2023 Chef of the Year Sean Pharr (Mint Mark, Muskellounge and Sporting Club, Hank's Burgers & Fish Fry) and 2025 Chef of the Year Evan Dannells (Cadre, Lola's Hi/Lo Lounge) will join O'Halloran to each create one of five special courses. A past James Beard Award winner, Chef Itaru brings both exceptional talent and a spirit of collaboration to this one-night-only experience. After working in the same community for years, Chef Itaru and Chef Patrick are finally joining forces for an unforgettable evening. Built around creativity, seasonal ingredients, and the honorable work of local farmers. This five-course tasting menu will celebrate the beauty of local ingredients while exploring unexpected approaches to familiar products. Known for his thoughtful and refined cooking at Fairchild, Chef Itaru will venture beyond his usual style for the evening. Bringing his originality and perspective into collaboration with The Deliciouser team. It will be a dinner rooted in curiosity and a shared love of great food. The Deliciouser is a chef-curated Spice Company, Restaurant, and Bar. Lunch and dinner are served within our on-site spice shop. Our menus feature local producers and highlight our handmade spice blends. The bar serves up craft spirit and spirit-free cocktails that complement and change with each seasonal menu. Additionally, our open kitchen gives guests a unique opportunity to taste dishes created with our spices and get a glimpse into our cooking process in a convivial, communal atmosphere. We also offer ticketed multi-course experiences on Tuesday evenings and cooking workshops on Saturdays.
