Before King William Wine Co. had a dining room, a menu, or a name on the door, Juan and I stood atop the Catena Zapata pyramid in Mendoza, looking toward the Andes, and decided to begin. The restaurant came to life with the help of people close to us. Friends, neighbors, and members joined us as we tested meals, set tables, and worked through the details. You were part of our story before we opened on November 14. On October 6, we begin our first anniversary season where the idea began: with Catena. Join us for an intimate dinner built around a rare vertical of Nicolás Catena Zapata 2018, 2019, and 2020—all poured from magnums. It is a chance to share extraordinary wines, tell you why they matter so much to us, and thank the people who helped bring King William Wine Co. to life. Oyster Shuck & Bake | Sunday, June 7 | 1-3PM Join us for a coastal wine afternoon featuring Blackjack Oysters at King William Wine Co. This outdoor experience will take place throughout our Wine Alley breezeway, patio, and mural-lined outdoor spaces, with oysters being shucked fresh and finished on the grill for a relaxed, open-air event. Each ticket includes 18 oysters with your choice of preparation — fresh on the half shell, Angels on Horseback, and grilled oysters à la maison — plus one bottle of house-selected wine per couple. Guests are welcome to continue the experience with additional oysters, Champagne upgrades, caviar, cocktails, and other menu selections available for purchase during the event. Members: $96 per couple Non-Members: $125 per couple Limited seating available. Reservations required. Tickets are limited and non-refundable due to advance oyster ordering. Additional purchases, tax, and gratuity are not included.
