We love hops – that’s why our flagship Double IPA, Heady Topper, is packed full of them. Heady Topper was designed to showcase the complex flavors and aromas these flowers produce. The Alchemist has been brewing Heady Topper since 2003. This Double IPA is not intended to be the strongest or most bitter DIPA. It is brewed to give you wave after wave of hop flavor without any astringent bitterness. We brew Heady Topper with a proprietary blend of six hops – each imparting its own unique flavor and aroma. Take a big sip of Heady and see what hop flavors you can pick out. Orange? Tropical Fruit? Pink Grapefruit? Pine? Spice? There is just enough malt to give this beer some backbone, but not enough to take the hops away from the center stage.

Man Eating Toaster is a Cinnamon Toast Crunch inspired IPA. We added milk sugar, dry hopped with Citra & Mosaic, and then conditioned on cinnamon & vanilla.

Cream Puff War Peach is brewed with honey malt and lactose, fermented with peach puree and double dry-hopped to create a deliciously unique, smooth and balanced ale. We set out to emulate the popular milkshake IPAs of our time and quickly veered off course to artfully merge sweet and hoppy.

Our ever faithful house IPA born from both the necessity of what we had to work with, and what we had to do. Brewed with a softer grist of North American 2 Row and Malted Wheat, fermented with our expressive house ale yeast, and dry hopped with a focus on the Falconers Flight hop blend, this beer delivers on balanced hop and yeast character of brighter citrus, orange pine marmalade, and stone fruit cohesion.

We loaded this Braaaaaaaains up with Lemon, Lime, Cherry, Pineapple, & Passionfruit and then hit it with our double secret smoothie treatment of sea salt, lactose, and vanilla. It’s got us thinking that this must be what Braaaaaaaains taste like to a zombie. Because it’s dang delicious and it’s got us wanting more and more and now all we think about is Braaaaaaaains. So you know, zombies, we get it.

Creating Grande Tripel, we let our base Tripel take center stage, enhancing it with freshly roasted Utica Coffee and Madagascar vanilla bean caviar. The result is a gorgeous and harmonious Belgian-style Tripel with subtle coffee aromas and a palate rich in roasted coffee and vanilla. The coffee and vanilla notes are intentionally subtle. The end result is pillowy soft and will leave you curious for more.

This installment of our Coastal Sunshine fruited sour series combines cherry-berry flavors of the Pacific Northwest balanced with bright lime-zest citrus notes.
