Colombia, Chiroso, Washed Notes: Forest Fruits, Florals, Black Tea A washed Chiroso with more sweetness than the process usually gives you: forest fruits gelato, black tea, and florals. Grown by Jorge Rojas at Finca El Proceso. After each harvest day, the cherries came down to his La Roca plant in Planadas, where they were floated to remove defects, pulped, left to rest overnight, and washed the next morning. This lot is a different one than the previous Nutcase. This coffee stood out on the cupping table for its creamy texture and dried fruit sweetness.
