Beaulieu Vineyards' Georges de Latour Cabernet Sauvignon has been widely recognized as the benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford since its inaugural vintage in 1936. Their understanding of terroir comes from more than 100 years of creating rich, classic Napa Valley wines. This legacy honors the marriage between state-of-the-art technology and gentle, traditional winemaking methods, a combination that enhances the expression of their remarkable vineyards.

This is the flagship wine of the beautiful Daou Vineyards Estate in Paso Robles. Owned by two Lebanese brothers who came to America after the fall of Beirut. This wine has a deep, complex bouquet reveals notes of cassis, black currant, licorice, ripe plum and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, layered and complex, while smooth, silky tannins lead to a persistent finish.

Caravan shares the pedigree of Darioush’s Signature wines, but displays more ripe, saturated fruit with an elegantly textured finish. Caravan is anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and/or Malbec and Petit Verdot added for depth and complexity of flavor.

Known as Chile's best Cabernet, this wine is bold but not fiercely tannic. Dark toasty chocolaty black-fruit flavors finish with a note of cherry cough drop and moderate acidity.

Dark red with a hue of purple. Intense and complex bouquet of red, black and blue berries intermixed with notes of blueberries, minerals (graphite, wet river rocks) licorice, fresh blond tobacco and a hint of lavender. Mon Chevalier features the interaction of the loamy, well drained and rocky volcanic soil, the typical sunny mountain climate and the low-interventionistic Morlet winemaking approach.

Exhibiting rich characteristics of dark complex fruits, minerality and balanced intensity, the layers of this wine truly reflect their vineyards terroir.

Driving a TD-9 tractor was the first job John Shafer had working in a vineyard and this wine tastes like the culmination of all he's learned since then. Notes of blackberry, raspberry, and a hint of spice lead to a lush, velvety finish.

This Cab Franc, imported from kermit Lynch is big and bold. The color is near-black, and the aroma is completely saturated with black cherry, juicy brambleberry, and ripe raspberries. One of our favorite Chinon beauties.

Founded in 1982 by Claudio Conterno and Guido Fantino, Conterno Fantino are a modern style producer, as they age their Barolo in French oak barriques and go through a shorter maceration and fermentation of the grapes. On the 27 ha of vineyards, they grow four grape varietals: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Chardonnay. They produce around 150,000 bottles a year. This is a big Barolo with flavours of raspberry, rose, vanilla, smoke, and savoury meats.

James Suckling stated that this is the best vintage of Brunello ever. Definitely one for the collector. This savory stunner has enticing scents of violet rose and wild berry that gain complexity alongside notes of leather camphor and sandalwood. The elegantly structured palate is all about precision featuring juicy cherry blood orange star anise and tobacco framed in taut refined tannins. Bright acidity keeps it energized.

Dark, inward and intense, the 2016 Brunello di Montalcino is a towering effort that will thrill collectors for many years to come. It arrives in waves, first black fruits evolving to red, then sage and earthy minerals, followed by brown spice and, finally, hints of tobacco. Youthfully dense, velvety and in no hurry to unfurl the complex web of fruit, minerals and tannins found within, this instead leaves you guessing at what’s to come. That said, there’s perfect symmetry here, along with the combination of structure and primary intensity to guarantee many years of positive maturation. Hints of licorice, currant and baker’s chocolate linger long. This is simply gorgeous.

Although Barbaresco grows only 10 miles away from the Barolo region, the differences in the wines is distinct as the Nebbiolo in the Barbaresco region ripens earlier. This one is rich with notes of raspberries, red cherries and white pepper.
